Publication of Papers
The journal Acta Botanica Croatica
welcomes manuscripts presented on 20th International Diatom Symposium for publication
in the October 2009 edition. It is an Open Access
International Journal published by the Faculty
of Science, University of Zagreb, Croatia, two times yearly.
The following points make Acta Botanica Croatica
an attractive publishing medium: 1) no page charges, 2) manuscripts subject
to international review, 4) 20 offprints per article provided free of charge,
including electronic reprint in Adobe's pdf format, 5) covered by abstracting
and indexing services such as: CSA Aquatic Sciences & Fisheries Abstracts,
Biological Abstracts, BIOSIS, CAB Abstracts, Elsevier Bibliographic Databases

Papers presented on 20th IDS should be prepared in English and submitted
until October 31, 2008.
Submission of a manuscript implies that the work has not been published before
or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. In 2008 Online Manuscript
Submission, Review and Tracking System will be established. Submitted papers
will be reviewed by two or three referees, active in the field the paper belongs
